COTA's in homecare working prn/per diem, what is a normal day's caseload?
If you are a COTA working home care traveling to different locations in near cities, please describe the amount of patient's you see a day. How long do you provide therapy to a pt. on average?(A 1/2 hr., hr., session(how long sessions require on average)? Do you work for multiple companies so you have steady hours? Are you paid hourly or per therapy session? Are you trained at all for home care, I am concerned because I am a student who will be fresh out of school. Thank you, any relevant information I will appreciate. I live in New York, and am told there are many jobs in New Jersey and the pay is slightly better then in comparison to my state.
