Analysis of Michael Drayton's Sonnet, Since There's No Help?

You cannot be further form the truth. The poet discusses how the love he and his partner shared seems now to be dying. He protests this is what he wants. He says they should just go their separate ways and not feel any regret. He protests too much via his use of personification and hyperbole. BUT; his final couplet begs his partner to please make a move to revive their love. He knows all is not lost for him; he hopes desperately all is not lost for her. Their relationship is now in her hands.
