Is there supposed to be more of The Last Airbender?

In the finale, Zuko asks his dad where his mother is and it is implied that Fire Lord Ozai might be getting his powers back which makes it seem like there might be more coming. However, that was more than two years ago that it ended. So, was there a plan to continue it that didn't pan out or what? Or are they still planning on having more just not yet?
