Job help looking for a better job?

I work as a substitute teacher per diem, so it's not permanent, and I get sent a different place every time. The pay is good, when I can go, but I'm looking for something where I know where I'll be every day, and I have the same hours. I've been looking on employment websites like monster.com, but I can only find sales jobs, and I don't really want to do that. I picture it as very difficult, and the pay not being stable since they are based on commission. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology/Anthropology and they have not been helpful at all. Ideally, I'd prefer a job working maybe as counselor or mediator....but I've been taking a break from school for the past year and applying everywhere. I haven't gotten anything yet ;(. Times are really rough I know that....and I really have to start paying back student loans, and other expenses. Would it be stupid to work somewhere like Walmart since I already have a degree? I really need some kind of stable income, and even though it wouldn't be much at Walmart or a fastfood place, they always hire and it would only be temporary until I find something better. I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions!
